2.5/5 ★ – AlNyman's review of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2.

Man, I really wanted to like this game. It's pretty much the exact same thing as the last Rainbow Six: Vegas, but with more guns and mechanics. On paper it should be better than the first game, and I should like it more. But I really don't. There's something that's completely off, something that's lacking that just worsens the game for me. There are no quiet moments before the shooting begins, there's just non-stop shooting. Enemies seem to have gotten better at headshotting you from across the map, and the levels themselves aren't as good. The best parts of something like terrorist hunt are things like planning where you're going to enter a building, and how you're going to flank an enemy, but now they come out of the building to shoot you before you've even made a move. It's not a bad game, but I don't like it as much as I liked the first one.
