4/5 ★ – AlexFett22's review of Silent Hill 4: The Room.

I finally procured this babe on eBay a little under 2 months back for the OG Xbox. My friend said I could borrow his and I was set. Only turns out his Xbox doesn't work. So I've been sitting around sad trying to find a way to play this when lo-and-behold my other friends the Twins, the OGs, William & Bonathan Breaux clutch up and lend me they Xbox so here I am finally playing it. I know so little about this game and am so excited to uncover it's secrets with what I hear from some is a great Silent Hill experience and others not so much. It's scary- like legit scary. The graphics aren't great but you get used to them and this thing has atmosphere in spades. The story is intriguing and Let's you in on even less than most Silent Hills at the start. My only main gripe would be in the combat. Silent Hill isn't about combat my goodness my body count through 3 games is probably less than an hour of a later Resident Evil game but still you need it to at least be viable at points and here- ehhh I don't care for it at all. But overall it's great. A fantasticly scary Silent Hill entry that I can say I am firmly planted on the side that love it.
