Don’t think this game is as well paced as the first one, nor do I think it’s emotional core is as strong. But, this was still a blast! Faults and all. Still need to play the PS2 versions of this and Yakuza 1 in order to have a full opinion, I think. These games are just so much fun, and it’s beyond refreshing to play a series with such a strong emphasis on cutscene direction and framing like this one has. Also shoutout Majima, he’s so goofy in this one what was he up to.
