Friendmeal

My pitch for a replacement to the more derisive friendslop This is a ranked list of all the games I have played in this “genre” My definition: a game meant to be played with friends, usually with a focus on cooperation, often with proximity chat, intended to be a vehicle for fun stories and conversations. Because of the cooperative part, not including social deduction games like Among Us and Lockdown Protocol, party games like Machine Party, or silly competitive games like Mage Arena, Meccha Chameleon, and Buckshot Roulette. Something like Helldivers II fits the vibe but is maybe too high-budget.
