Much better aesthetic work than base Quake, and while its not the best thing you'll ever play, it never goes down to Q1 E4 lows. Theres some bad encounters, but almost all frustration can be eased over with the stupidly powerful new guns and ammo, which make ammo management a complete joke. I never ran out of the crazy shit, and the crazy shit just kept melting everything.
