‼️SPOILERS‼️
Well xD. Star Wars Jedi Survivor is a game from the series "Like a man knew but was deluded" PS5 game is terrible when it comes to its technical part. Throughout the game I had about 30-40 FPS despite choosing this mode with 60 fps. These 60 frames were visible in small, cramped rooms because when you went out into the open world, they dropped to these 40. The graphics themselves are also nasty. The landscape looks like plasticine left in the sun on cement. If someone is oversensitive on this point, I recommend holding off on buying the game until Respawn fixes it. That's Respawn, a small studio with people who expect too much of themselves. After some bugs in Apex Legends, it's not a big surprise to me that SW as a single-player game doesn't look as great as it should. On PC, from what I've seen, it works, but it's probably also on the more powerful ones. In this respect, the game for current-gen consoles looks like a remake of the PS2 game.
It doesn't bother me much because the previous part wasn't great either. For such a Horizon FW has no equal is known.
▪️Gameplay - Here's a lot of progress compared to the first part because you can FINALLY use fast travel points and you don't have to go through the entire location to get something at the very end. Nevertheless, a big minus is the lack of meditation spots (save points and fast travel) on each landing position. It annoyed me sometimes that you can't get out of the Mantis and use the meditation spots to teleport to the other end, you just have to go to the nearest one x times by defeating the same enemies.
The grappling hook also works here (I don't remember if it was in the first part)
The biggest nuisance is the finds 💀. As much as I like them, here a man will be disgusted by the fun of collecting them. Let's start with the fact that in Survivor we don't have to make planets at 100%, there are less planets here because I think 3 + moon + something that looks like a mineral that can be bought at a stall. These planets are mostly wastelands, there is one main, larger one with various locations above and below the surface. There's a lot of walking and flying back and forth here. You need to scan x types, complete bounties, collect the unfortunate priority shards, etc. As for the shards, there are 100 of them scattered mostly on the main planet BUT they are not marked on the map. At first, I did it from the guide, which lasts an hour and a half and after about half an hour I realized that the type from the guide has some diamonds on the map and I don't have them ... these were, among other things, these shards marked, we will get access to the treasure location by doing something like side quest with three temples on Jedha. It's best to do it after finishing the story right away so you don't have to bother with searching every nook and cranny.
In Jedi Survivor, we can change Cal's appearance a bit more. You can't change the appearance of the Mantis this time, much to my surprise. There is a trophy in the game that requires you to "not touch" the ground for x times. I got this trophy during the cutscene 🤷🏽♂️
▪️ Story - It's time for some pros because so far there have been only cons of this game. The plot for me who is not a fan of the Star Wars universe is cool, cool threads, although a bit sad and sometimes incomprehensible to me. The old crew is complete again, as if having with them a treacherous rat that was an unpredictable surprise for me. I don't know if it's just me, but it seems to me that the plot here is shorter than in the first one. We have Cal's love story with Merrin here. A sad death plot, and a Boba Fett plot. I think that also opens the thread for a future third part.
▪️ To sum up - Don't buy this game now unless you don't mind poor graphics and you have nerves of steel or you just have a super ultra very good computer.
