Jump Rope Challenge is a cute little novelty, but there’s not much content here. For a game that’s available as a free download, it was neat for Nintendo to offer during the height of the pandemic. The game has you play as a bunny and using the motion controls of the Joy-Cons, you pretend to jump rope. While the game is sweet, I do find the motion controls a bit cumbersome and the game is not consistent in what it counts as a jump. There’s also really no goal or purpose other than jumping for the sake of it. You can play with a friend, set your own goals, and change the bunny’s appearance, but there’s not much else to the “game.” I like to keep this on my Switch as a fun little piece of Nintendo history, but I’m not sure that many other people would get much out of this.
