Platinum is a game that I enjoyed, but I think I ultimately found it a little slow compared to some of my other favorites in the Pokemon series. I never played the other Gen IV games (my brother got Diamond, while I got Platinum!) and I found the game to be generally good. Sinnoh is a pretty good region, and I love the Platinum content like the Distortion World and the focus on Giratina. However, I still don’t love the selection of Pokemon as much and I found the general gameplay to be relatively slow. I think Platinum is a fine game in the series, and probably the definitive version of Gen IV, but it isn’t a game I have as much nostalgia for as some other titles in the series.
