3.5/5 ★ – Batman_Beware's review of Batman: Arkham Asylum.

(Review of the Return to Arkham Version) Since the Batman Arkham Trilogy is coming to switch this fall, I decided to go through Rocksteady’s trilogy instead and opted to play the PS5 version of Return to Arkham Asylum (which is exactly the same as the PS4 version). The original game I’d give a 5 out of 5 or 10 out of 10 but the “Remaster” degrades it in a lot of areas. The character models are really messed up for the most part (aside from Harley and Joker), the frame rate is really bad (it struggles to hit a consistent 30 and it’s really choppy feeling) The remaster has just about no lighting whatsoever and the atmosphere just isn’t as eery as the original game bc it’s too colorful and not at all what the original game was going for.
