3.5/5 ★ – Batman_Beware's review of Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods - Part Two.

It really is amazing how much music can positively or negatively impact a game, movie, show, etc. Sadly for the Doom Eternal DLC’s it was a real disappointment compared to the base game. Without Mick Gordon for the DLC’s the quality in tracks declines heavily and it’s hard not to wonder what Mick would’ve come up with, given the chance. As for the actual meat and potatoes of this DLC, it’s… fine? The story took some interesting turns but nothing crazy. Gameplay was more or less the same, it just felt like if you were to do a New Game Plus run of the game. Excited to start the Dark Ages later tonight and see where it stacks up against Eternal and DOOM 2016.
