There are some signs of age, but the original Spyro trilogy holds up surprisingly well. While its mechanics feel rudimentary by modern standards, the remastered visuals are downright gorgeous. Toys for Bob did an excellent job breathing new life into Spyro and his friends. My main criticism is that, because the three games are relatively similar, playing them together can feel repetitive. Nevertheless, Spyro Reignited Trilogy remains the best way to revisit these PS1 classics.
