When people talk about Pokémon they sometimes refer to as “baby first rpg”. I think that is a compliment as being an intro into a fun game type for kids. With Pokémon Arceus I think it can be viewed as baby first open world game. It is a great intro into how you can get emerged into a game. It offers a slow steady climb to understanding its mechanics and once you get it there is nothing more satisfying then catching every Pokémon you see. If you are new to Pokémon or never really liked open world games this is a good start. The only thing that may stop someone from enjoying this game is the poor level of graphics. This is a game I would show someone what open world games are like but I would not show someone this game who wants to see the best in graphical fidelity
