4.5/5 ★ – BlandExplosion's review of Xenoblade Chronicles: Future Connected.
Melia and Shulk returns to the abandoned Entia's capitol, Alcomoth, and they're joined by Heropon's children, Kino and Nene, to defeat the luring evil that has driven what's left of the Entia race. This DLC is more Xenoblade Chronicles and that is totally fine with me: More monsters, more side quests, and a returning cast of characters. Some of the mechanics are slightly different, but overall pretty similar. The biggest difference is collection pons along the journey and using these pons in battle, including the QTE ultimate attacks. Kino and Nene had a great variety of skills and fun to play with. The story's caliber is probably as high as the base game, and gives Melia a wonderful character arc. All in all, really enjoyed this DLC. If you played XC1, you can't skip out on this.
