3.5/5 ★ – Breckenridge's review of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

One of the most unfairly judged games in recent memory. For $70 at launch, yeah it’s not worth it. But I played this through PS Plus and my god it’s actually fun. Fun gameplay that’s only hindered by repetitive endgame content, but for 20-30 hours it’s an enjoyable time. The big issue here is that it’s a total failure as an Arkham-verse game, and it tries too hard to have a tone similar to the movies. If it had played it a little more serious like the Arkham games and set itself apart from the movies, it could’ve been something memorable. Dialogue is also consistently bad, but I’ve seen much worse in recent years. Give it a fair shot, I think you’ll be surprised to see that it’s more enjoyable than the reviews gave it credit for. But yes, no more live service bullshit please.
