Downwell has always been one of those games I always find myself coming back to on my phone. It’s simple, addictive, and fun. After a while of being defeated over and over, you kinda lose steam, but this time thru, I stuck with it until the end. Obviously it isn’t this ground breaking game with an elaborate story, etc. but it shines in that simplicity. Also, I found the end quite sweet. He was just trying to get to his kitty that fell in a well. And that made me weirdly emotional because I feel like I’d go to hell and back for my cat too. 🥲
