4/5 ★ – CS11__'s review of Quantum Break.

Is it Remedy’s best? Far from it. But it just might be the most experimental and unique Game of their entire catalog. it’s idea of a standard Game that uses a TV mini series to explore the lore more in depth, really add to the worldbuilding and bounce back and forth between the Game itself. It’s incredibly intriguing and definitely paid off in the end. The Gameplay keeps involving and it’s just really damn fun when you get into it. It’s awesome cause you can genuinely see the evolution from this game into Control and how Remedy built on it. The game has a lot of aspects where you see how they either learned from Alan Wake going into this, or learned from this going into Control. Really good performance from Aidan Gillen, Lance Reddick in particular, Lance gets the spotlight in the show mostly, and Aidan mostly in the game. They brought a whole lot to this story in particular. Shawn Ashmore as Jack Joyce & Courtney Hope as Beth Wilder (Jesse herself) both did fantastic too.
