4.5/5 ★ – Casinopolis's review of Gears of War 2.

Larger in scope than the first game, preserving all of its guts, gore and glory. Noticeably scaled up are the co-op elements which will see players often separated or operating different mechanics to advance a section. Or covering each others blind spots in a tight moment. Also scaled up is the story, delivering heavier moments and a slightly overdue explanation of the plot. Gears peaked at the final section of this game which is just so ridiculously bombastic. But undeniably good.
