3/5 ★ – Casinopolis's review of Gravity Rush 2.

Not the step up from Gravity Rush 1 that was required of it. It's worth saying that there's a few new features here to get invested in, like different playstyles and a unique vertical (and hierarchical) open world design. But too much of this game boils down to either generic side quests and bizarre new missions (like mining or photography) that makes the game feel like it isn't living up to its potential. An extra chapter with a new character to play as provides a bit more bang for your buck and some needed variety. But a lot of this game is either what you were doing in the first game - scaled or stretched out - or a bunch of new stuff that doesn't add value.
