3.5/5 ★ – Cyrus's review of Astral Chain.

The re-run wasn't too good for my opinion on it. I had some good memories from my first playthrough but when the novelty of the battle system wears off there are sadly some things to dislike: the investigations can be tedious, the platforming is a bit rough at times, the controls get a bit fiddly when you need to use multiple skills in a row. The stealth sequences are so annoying. Don't get me wrong: There is still some good game left here. But looking at my playtime and the percentage of those it goes into a critical ratio. There is much potential for a sequel though, so I cross my fingers that the rumors in that direction are true.
