The game is a bit rough around the edges, especially the inventory system, but the core of the game is still so good that it's definitely worth to check out today. For an old JRPG I like how forgiving the game is. It doesn't stretch out it's run time by adding unnecessary grinding. If you want to min-max your character you can easily, but you don't really have to. The characters and story is very interesting, the music and graphics are doing a good job keeping you in the game world. And the battle system is doing enough to keep you entertained throughout the short length as well. Definitely recommend picking the remaster collection up and definitely don't skip it before 2 as I saw recommended online a ton.
