3.5/5 ★ – DamienK_098's review of Cyberpunk 2077.

I was one of the people who got hyped for this game in 2019 after I found out Keanu Reeves was in the game, I had the game pre ordered for my Xbox back when the OG release was April 2020, then the delay hit and I canceled, and lets just say thank God I did cause if I had to play this on Xbox One and not my new PS5, I'd kill myself. Usually I prefer 3rd Person Games to 1st Person, especially RPG's where you customize your character so that was one thing I was skeptical on, but thankfully we got a Photo Mode to show us how V looks. Buggy launch and no 3rd Person mode aside, Cyberpunk 2077 is pretty damn fun (on PS5). The world of Night City is beautiful to look at, the graphics are pretty solid, voice performances are great, and of course the story is phenomenal! I actually found myself giving a shit for the side characters and always attempted to do their side quests as soon as possible. But the game isn't without problems though, the combat and gunplay fell underwhelming and doesn't really bring anything new to the table, and the photo mode is very limited when it comes to poses. Say you want to take a pic as you're punching an NPC in the face, well you can't because that isn't on of the pose load outs the game has so too bad. And the game definitely feels like it's missing a lot of content, like a train system, or an option to change V's appearance, but I guess CD Projekt wants to play the long game and drop that with DLC. Also, the Life Paths have no impact on the game other than some dialogue options and how the game starts. But overall, I'd definitely recommend this game to anyone but if you have a PS4 or Xbox One, I'd wait a couple months.
