My personal favorite Pokemon game. Has so much personality with the spritework and the Pokemon companion following behind you. Although the Pokemon pool could be expanded considering the trainers you'll face will sometimes have Sinnoh Pokemon, I was satisfied with the array of teams I was able to make out of Heart Gold. The plot and region of Johto isn't anything too much of substance, but little touches like your rival getting Crobat, a Pokemon that can only evolve through friendship, and the final battle with Red, makes this a Pokemon Journey I won't forget!
