5/5 ★ – DarrensTrashBag's review of God of War: Ragnarök.

This is just 2018 God of War but 3x better and longer. It isn't perfect, with a few scenes having rusty dialogue and some needed quality of life improvements not being included such as more frequent fast travel points, more shops, and the ability to make custom waypoints on the map. I also felt like Ragnarok itself could have been it's own game, like how GOW 3 was. However, I wasn't upset with how it ended. If it ended just before Ragnarok, then the next game would probably have topped GOW 3. I really like all of the characters introduced in this game; Thor, Odin, Tyr, Thrud, Heimdall, and Ratatoskr were great additions with fantastic acting performances all around. In terms of combat, there is an improvement. I didn't like the Atreus combat that much. It would be much better if he shot more efficiently. I do like this game more than 2018, but I feel like GOW 3 is better because there is a lot more replay value with that game. This game very much exceeded my expectations. 97/100
