5/5 ★ – DarrensTrashBag's review of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.

This is just a better Link to the Past, better combat, better items, better dungeons, and a better story. The only thing that I think Link to the Past did better was the difficulty because Link Between Worlds is the easiest Zelda game. The exploration of the worlds becomes very interesting with the addition of the painting mechanic, which I really enjoy. Once again all of the dungeons I feel were fantastic with all of them being equal in quality to me. I wish there were more in depth side quests and interesting side characters. Although, Ravio is a fantastic and funny character, who introduces a genius idea to allow the player to pick and choose which dungeons they want to tackle first. This allows so much freedom. I do hope as they expand into making more 2D Zelda games that they implement this direction. So overall this is easily the best 2D Zelda, short but sweet. Everything is great with it being short and easy is what is dragging the score down a bit. 96/100
