5/5 ★ – DarrensTrashBag's review of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom is basically a better version of Breath of the Wild with a better map, puzzles, dungeons, score, and cutscenes. I genuinely do not see how people can say that this is worse than botw, the only thing that I can think of that botw did better is that it has Revali's gale, however you can just do that anyway with pinecones. There are so many possibilities and solutions to every puzzle that any method is the right method. The shrines are all fantastic, I loved all the new bosses and enemies. The final Ganondorf fight is probably the best Zelda final boss ever. I also really enjoyed all of the side adventures, they really felt like fleshed out side quests and can be compared to Skyward Sword and Majora's Mask. If botw never came out, then people will say this is a masterpiece, but I don't know how making a sequel to a game by adding new mechanics and so many new things to do is considered an inferior version. I sunk in 140 hours getting all koroks, shrines, lightroots, map locations, boss medals, fabrics, and the compendium and it was all worth my time. 98/100
