4.5/5 ★ – Deenyl's review of Batman: Arkham City.

Probably overall my favorite of the series. I think the plot is great and love the characters they introduced. It's got some of the best and most iconic boss fights in the series. Most notable probably being the Mr. Freeze fight. Along with new gadgets, mechanics, smoother gameplay, DLC where you play as Tim Drake Robin, Catwoman gameplay, and side missions relating to other villains that aren't a part of the main plotline. Just a ton of great improvements from Arkham Asylum. I don't think the atmosphere even comes close to how Asylum makes you feel but it's still great. This is also where the Riddler trophies stop being cute little easter eggs regarding different Batman characters and start being the biggest pain in the ass collectible in probably any game ever. But at least the Riddler side missions are interesting and entertaining. The other pet peeve I have with this game is that getting around the map is a bit of a pain in the ass. They addressed this in Arkham Knight but even with the speed grapple thing you can't get around the map very fast or efficiently.
