Was quite a fun game. The freedom you have as to how you approach races feels really good and you have the opportunity to actually explore the map and find hidden spots, without having too worry that you're gonna fall behind. I played on the hardest difficulty, which was indeed quite a challenge, but the lower difficulties are a lot more relaxed and can also be a very chill game (depends what you want). However, I did have some crashes, which at times were rather discouraging and would be nice if they released an update fixing it. I also played the original DOSbox version, because I could run it windowed mode, but the 3dfx version works fine as well, as long as you don't tab other cause you're sure ain't tabbing back in. But if you don't mind not tabbing out the 3dfx version actually looks much better and felt more immersive (partly because of the fullscreen). Also the game is pretty much 2 in 1 (Max Pack and Splat Pack) and found Max Pack more difficult and it had more races, but I'd recommend playing it first, because while Splat Pack was easier and shorter, its last level just felt like the perfect awesome conclusion to the combined game. All in all it was a pretty neat game, just needs some fixes.
