5/5 ★ – Dehds's review of Fallout 3: Operation Anchorage.
It was the first DLC I did, as I stumbled upon it while exploring and just went with it. The visuals of it look amazing and there's some awesome views. Which, also, felt quite good compared to the Wasteland vibe I was experiencing so far, as a way to give you a break and make things more interesting by shifting the pace and vibe. It was a break in terms that you don't have to worry about loot, as I am a loot goblin, and you can just focus the mission (don't mind either but as I said, nice to have some change of pace). It is mostly quite linear, but there are some side secrets you can find and get a perk from, but they're not to difficult to find as long as you don't rush. And finally found it cool that this is the first time you "see" the Fallout universe before the bombs dropped in the series so far. One thing, that some people could find as a turn off is that it's not really RPG but rather more linear and in a way similar to Tactics as you get to lead a team, although not able to control them as directly as in Tactics.
