4/5 ★ – Delkery's review of New Super Lucky's Tale.

A return to classic 3D platformers, Lucky’s Tale is a fun and simple plot that has cute characters and pretty easy gameplay. That is, until the depth of field and ability to move your view is inhibited. Far too many deaths came at the hand of view issues for me, usually in a boss fight, but the ideas behind the levels and bosses were easily understandable in relation to the gameplay. This and the repetitive nature of the entire games play style felt long, but that could’ve been from ADHD 😅. If it weren’t for the fact I was playing for my toddler to enjoy, this could be a slightly lower rating due to this. But with the new memories and teaching moments of perseverance, never giving up, and taking breaks when you need to, this game was a solid 4/5 for my son and I.
