3/5 ★ – Denmother's review of 911 Operator.
I have no clue why or how but I have 165 hours on this game on steam. It's been a while since I played it. You are literally a 911 dispatcher and the intermittent "calls" consist of lazily thrown together danger scenarios such as a guy who got his leg chopped off by a power saw or a girl pretending to order pizza when really she's reporting reporting domestic violence and you have to pick the right response out of multiple choice answers.
The rest of the game is micromanaging police, fire, and EMS units and having them respond to "mini calls" on the map which are just pop up bubbles that tell you what the problem is i.e. (armed robbery, heart attack victim) and you send your units as needed.
The fun part to me was putting it on hard difficulty and stressing yourself out trying to make quick decisions on which situation is most urgent and having to carefully manage your units as you're greatly short staffed.
I have no clue why I liked this game.
