5/5 ★ – Dethfuse's review of Warframe.

I've been playing the game actively since 2013 when it released on PS4's launch day. Over the years it has changed so much and only gotten better. In the early years there would be weekends I spent solely playing this game with friends, going late into the night to keep the grind going until I finally got what I wanted. The thing about Warframe is that there is always more to do but you'll always be making progress. You can spend hours farming for resources to make new weapons, currencies to upgrade mods, or experience to relevel weapons over and over until you get the perfect build. And while the game remains still true to its original nature, the level of quality has significantly increased. Unfortunately, while Warframe continues to improve at what it does and refuses to change, I myself as a gamer have changed. No longer can I stomach the grind that this game represents. At this point in time, I barely am able stomach playing for more than 30 minutes and am already several updates behind. All that said, I can't help but be amazing at the overall amazing experience this game provided to me over the last 8 years with nearly 5000 hours played. This will always be one of my most cherished video games that I'll reminisce on till the end of my days. While it's definitely not the most new player friendly game, if you give it a chance, you're sure to be in for a great time.
