5/5 ★ – Diluted_Thought's review of Aero the Acro-Bat.
Man where to start. Aero the Acrobat was part of that Tude era along with Sonic, Bubsy and others, and me being me at 8 really bought into it. This was not a clone game for one, it had incredibly fun platforming stages and different levels, bonus levels and fun challenges depending on what part of the circus you were in. (Oh yeah this takes place in a circus.) You run into different objectives in the game in order to get out of a level but as the game progresses its you'll ending up performing different objectives and finding different types of stages to tackle.
I heard a podcast bashing this game for being hard to control and having a terrible soundtrack. While I don't agree I also don't blame them for having these issues as this was a product of its time. Back when it released it actually reviewed really well. Playing this at the time, it was Awesome! The varied stages and the Bosses were rad and the soundtrack ingrained itself in my mind. I still listen to it today.
In short, this was a damn good game and wonderful experience. Would i recommend it to someone who's never played this game before though? They wouldn't appreciate it quite as much as they would have in the 90s.
