5/5 ★ – Diluted_Thought's review of Darksiders II.

I was listening to the Kinda Funny Games Podcast a while back, and Greg Miller, one of the host and formally of IGN, said something to the the degree of "Who are they making these games for?" in reference to the Darksiders franchise. The answer: is me. I'm part of the loyal audience that these games are aiming for. With that said, Darksiders 2, changed the formula up just enough that it really felt like a both a worth while sequel and an amazing experience. While I love War's brutality, I really fell in love with Death's speed and, dare I say it, grace. With a far bigger world, awesome new weapons and more boss fights this game proved the Darksiders team still had a lot up their sleeves and Joe Mad still had a lot of monsters in his mind to draw up. There are 2 Coffee table books for the first to Darksiders games and I'm hoping to own them both in the future and just the like the first game I did purchase the Deathinitive edition of this game and hoping to play this again as well, only this time running through the entire franchise for the story. I can't wait.
