4.5/5 ★ – Diluted_Thought's review of Darksiders: Warmastered Edition.

Last time I played "Darksiders" was probably 2011? I've been wanting to replay it for a few a years to see just how it hold ups and unsurprisingly it holds up pretty well. The whole Zelda nature of the game makes it very replay-able and it never feels like it over stays its welcome. Admittedly, trying to revisit some of the "dungeons" to find hidden chests was a bit frustrating but even that never felt like it took too long to accomplish. The combat is still enjoyable and brutal and the boss fights are still the highlight. Now more than ever I'm interested to see where the Samael storyline goes. First game I eliminated some of his enemies, here I freed him from imprisonment and gave him some major power. No mention of Lucifer tho. Can't wait to draw out the rest of the story.
