4/5 ★ – Diluted_Thought's review of Diddy Kong Racing.

While "Mario Kart 64" was king of the racers at the time I still had an open mind to try something different, since options were limited on the N64. While I'd never go back to play DK Racing I still have a bit of a soft spot for it. In fact I beat most of the game with Banjo, who along with Conker, was one the playable racers. I beat all the challenges and unlocked Drumstick the Chicken who I then used to finish the game with. I never played it again. Definitely an underrated title for the Time. But it was pretty magical at that moment. It's a shame that Donkey Kong Racing never made it past a few screen shots. I always was curious to know what a sequel this game could have been.
