4.5/5 ★ – Diluted_Thought's review of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.
Shorter than the Far Cry 3 Campaign but still just as epic and the aesthetics are amazing. As a child of the late 80s and early 90s there were so many references that spoke directly to me. Not only did it look rad AF but the soundtrack by Power Glove did a lot to make this game stand out. I was lucky enough to get this as a physical copy as part of a Far Cry pack that included FC2 and 3. What I loved about it what that you still had the option to get lost in the jungles but being able to annihilate a ton a dudes as a bad ass cyborg was so much fun. Some guns were taken from famous movies like Robo Cop, Predator and Terminator 2. Then of course it was beefy enough to enjoy in day but also short enough to enjoy in day. Making this game easily replayable. I think i ran through it 3 times now and i'll probably do so again later. More than anything I wish they made a sequel to THIS game. I'd love some more Blood Dragon.
Side note: After years of searching for the poster "Eyes on Walls" had a partner ship for a short time with Ubisoft and this poster popped up on their site. I found it in a fairly large size, now I just need to get it framed and up it shall go. What a dope piece of work. Shout out to Signal Noise for the killer art.
