5/5 ★ – Diluted_Thought's review of Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

After playing Spider-Man (2018) I fell in love with the game play and the traversal ability throughout New York. So stepping back into that world with Miles felt familiar, fun but in smaller dose. While that is by no means a bad thing it I was a bit disappointed in the amount of suits you could unlock. Still I had my favorites like the Spider-Verse outfit and the 2020 suit that makes you look like your part of Daft-Punk. It's also a holiday game! I had forgotten about this but considering we were still in the season I figured this would be a perfect time to start it up. Despite enjoying Miles Morales as a character I don't know a whole lot about him outside of his origin story from "Into the Spider-Verse". Also using the Tinkerer felt fresh since that villian feels incredibly underused, which actually helps sell the story, since I'd only known the name but never the character either. I also enjoyed the differences in how Peter and Miles fight and their styles. Not being able to do a finisher on a bigger criminal was kind of a bummer until I was able to bust him up with a Venom Punch! I have to mention that, had this game just been a tad longer I would have appreciated it, despite that this title is still a damn good time. It'll be a while before I can play "Spider-Man 2" but this was a great way to hold me over. I said this before and I'll mention it here, even though Peter Parker is the O.G. , Miles is my guy!
