4/5 ★ – Dima064's review of Ratatouille.

Completed as of writing this review: 100% Another nostalgic trip, developed by Asobo Studio and it’s the biggest of the three games developed by them. From stages that are very carefully crafted to cheerful mini-games, which emphasize on fast cooking! The scale of the stages really is huge, which is logical, considering we’re playing as a rat. My favourites have to be the food stages, since the mood of basically all of them is cheerful and fun to play. The cooking mini-games are fun to through, more or less a training for memorizing the buttons. A solid package all around, if not talking about the 100% completion. Speaking of 100%, here are the downside. I don’t know for other versions but particularly PS2 version is broken, since you have to kill specific crabs in the third stage >while< going through story mode, otherwise you’re doomed and can’t complete the game 100%. That really left a bitter taste in my mouth. Imagine a kid deciding to 100% only after the story mode and finding out they can’t. I like collecting everything from the beginning, but not twice in a row. This also applies to the sliding stages, where the stars are located a certain way, where they expect you to replay the stage, which I did not (I purposefully died to retry the same section to collect other stars). Also Remy will never shut up if you collect something and it’s annoying. Overall a really good game. I’m confused as to why is it not on Steam, since Wall-E is. I recommend everyone to try it, since it’s not very long.
