4.5/5 ★ – DirtyDan's review of Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut.

Ghost of Tsushima is a fantastic new IP! Sucker Punch knocked it out of the park. I had to raise my score originally I gave it a 4/5 but I raised it to 4.5/5 because I keep coming back. The story of Jin becoming the ghost and his relationships with his allies especially his uncle was amazing. Throughout the game Jin sees how flawed the samurai code is and he does whatever it takes to save Tsunami. With cast of characters that are interesting like Yuna and Masako and more. Kotan Khan is a brutal man the part where he kills Taka was tough to watch. Ryozo was an interesting character all he wanted to do was provide food for his men. The final fight between Jin and his Uncle has a lot of emotional wait. Both endings work so well! The open world is breathtaking with plenty to do. Some fun side content although it can get repetitive. Mythic Tales were the best side missions and some other great ones like Masako and Ishikawa tales. Combat is so fun and satisfying. So many fun ways to take down enemies with your katana along with 4 stances that all play differently. Ghost stance and Ghost weapons a great addition as well. The katana combat shines its brightest during duels which are all incredibly sat and some difficult. I can’t wait for Ghost of Tsushima 2 that game has so much potential!
