4.5/5 ★ – Dj_Ce_S's review of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.

Amazing game. Much easier to pick up than the first, but that may be because I played the 1st. Story is great and the world in massive and full of life. It is a bit heavy of dialogue at times and not as much combat as one would think, it all depends on how you play. You can talk your way out of fights at times by intimidating people, which to me, is better that just beating them up. Some have said the "Master Strike" is OP, but I found it very useful at times of being way out numbered. You don't need to use it in a 1 on 1 or even 2 on 1, but when it's 6 on 1 it definitely comes in handy to quickly defeat foes. There are still some camera and lock on issues that are from the first but they are few and far between. The animations didn't seem to change that much either. They still use a lot of the same voice actors for regular NPCs, I heard Dry Devil's voice a few times throughout the game. The game still keeps alot of things from the first game Canon but also kind of sweeps alot of them under the rug. If you didn't play the first, alot of it will just go over your head. There's less of an influence in the tournament, you don't get to it until aoter in the game and by then I was involved with so many other things, it seemed like a lost side quests. In the first I maybe did 14 tournaments in my playthrough, I did 2 in my playthrough of the 2nd game.
