5/5 ★ – DrippyHippy's review of Hollow Knight: The Grimm Troupe.

One of the best DLC’s I’ve ever played. Not only did it add a shitload of content, but it most infamously added what I consider to be the greatest boss in hollow knight if not the greatest boss of all time, Nightmare King Grimm. Seriously, I could rant about how masterful this boss is for an eternity like with its fluid moveset, banging music, incredible arena, etc. Also, since it’s October, it was the perfect time to play it as it perfectly fits the spooky Halloween vibe. Anyways, this DLC along with the other 3 perfectly encapsulate why Hollow Knight is hailed as the greatest indie game of all time and I don’t see my stance on that changing for a very long time, even with Silksong out (yes, I’ve played and beaten it, it’s a fucking masterpiece, but it’s just a little bit worse than Hollow Knight imo).
