5/5 ★ – Elir_Roman's review of Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Last night I beat Final Fantasy 7 Part 1. With this being my first ascent into a Final Fantasy game I was pretty nervous when you consider the 25+ years of praise for this game. The storytelling, gameplay, level and boss design is immaculate, refined, and absolutely stunning to play and look at. My heart was racing in the finale and then I realized this was only the end of Act 1. If they got me to care this much in just one quarter of the game, I have no idea what follows. MAGIC.
