3/5 ★ – Empyrean's review of Destiny 2: Lightfall - Season of the Witch.

Season of the Witch definitely had some interesting moments, but it suffers from some of the same major issues that Witch Queen had: very little happens outside of the bookends, and the dialogue is too “modern” (“it ain’t that deep!”). Immaru still sucks but at least Fynch doesn’t return. This was also arguably the worst state of the game, in a meta sense, since Curse of Osiris. Sadly it was only indicative of what was to come after The Final Shape.
