3/5 ★ – Empyrean's review of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.

Prim3 giveth, and Prim3 taketh away. Corruption makes some great and needed changes to the Prime formula, especially in its gameplay and combat, but for every welcome addition there’s a negative. No exploration, a new tedious gimmick in opening/operating shit, and not doubling down on its new narrative focus. I think this is the point where I just have to concede that I much prefer 2D Metroid. Oh well, at least Sky Town is cool.
