4/5 ★ – Empyrean's review of Onimusha: Warlords.

Man, NOBODY did CG cutscenes like Onimusha. That ending is still so fucking cool. Just like the *other* Capcom franchise that started out as another Resident Evil, the original Onimusha is very basic by comparison to what would come later but excels more in its horror-esque atmosphere. At just a few hours it’s the perfect length for something with only one combo per weapon. Side note: I’ve played this game so much with the Panda costume that I can’t even remember what Samanosuke looks like without it.
