3/5 ★ – Empyrean's review of TNT: Evilution.

Whilst I don’t think that TNT quite deserves its reputation, it definitely is the weaker half of Final Doom. In terms of environmental storytelling, this has some of the best in classic Doom. Unfortunately a good chunk of them just aren’t fun to play. Sprawling levels and confusing mazes, often with the same theming. It isn’t even particularly difficult, although perhaps Plutonia’s Go 2 It has spoiled me. I’d say it’s about on par with DOOM II, but at least that gave us the Super Shotgun.
