2/5 ★ – Empyrean's review of Valiant Hearts: Coming Home.

I got roughly halfway through the game until I, in true Ubisoft fashion, had one too many progress halting bugs, rage-deleted, then watched the rest on YouTube. Honestly a better experience. A sloppy sequel that looks and plays identically to The Great War, despite being unceremoniously released NINE years later, but is worse across the board and adds nothing but a generic music QTE. It does dip it’s toes into segregation and general racial tensions of the times, and overcomes the bloat of its predecessor by mercifully being half the playtime, but sadly it’s not enough to warrant anything more than watching a playthrough.
