4/5 ★ – Endless_backlog's review of FIFA Street 2.
Played this on the PSP, used to be obssessed with this when I was younger.
Rule the Street is an absolute classic game mode, that has failed to be reproduced since this. Not only was Rule the street canned for FS3 &4, but Volta on Fifa was a tease of street football coming back, only to not incorporate Rule the Street at all and not allow customisable teams. Something so satisfying about performing random tricks in a street arena, cleaning our opponents, and scoring game breakers, particularly using prime Adriano.
Grinding for skill bills to enter tournaments whilst paying to unlock better players throughout your journey was all part of the fun.
I played FIFA Street 1 on the ps2, and I miss the commentar and his catchphrases, not sure if this was replicated in FS2 for PS2. The game has its moments that suffer from being on the PSP, like the slowest ball rolling towards the keeper and him watching it roll through his legs into the goal.
Kind of wish there was a legend unlocked for defeating the Munich cup for the first time like R9. There’s a bunch of players you play against but never get the chance to buy like C.Ronaldo, Zidane and Ibrahimovic.
Final squad:
Buffon
Ronaldinho
Adriano
Roberto Carlos
Henry
Del Piero
Larsson
