4/5 ★ – Falconswift87's review of Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla - Dawn of Ragnarök.

Dawn of Ragnarok offers us the chance to return to the mythical realms of Norse lore. It did come as a surprise that we already had two sections in the main game that lay the foundation for this expansion. I think DoR does a solid job of telling Odin’s story but at a cost. Valhalla is already a huge game and this expansion just add more to it. Hardcore fans will probably enjoy diving into this adventure but it could be a hard sell for anyone who has already moved on from Valhalla. Apart from the mythical environments and some cool moves for Odin there isn’t a lot new here. I think the story is good but very depressing. I found Odin to be a fantastic lead however. It feels like the perfect time to close out Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and I think it was a wise decision to turn Mirage into a separate standalone entry.
