Hypnospace Outlaw is an internet simulator game that takes inspiration from pre Y2K internet. You play as an internet moderator who must flag cases on Hyperspace. There are plenty of mysteries to find on the websites. I found myself invested in the story and lore of the game. The 3 chapter and epilogue structure works is efficient. Likewise, I found the puzzles, web search, and download mechanics surprisingly deep. I was dissapointed to see that many of the puzzles near the endgame were a bit contrived for my liking. Nevertheless, Hypnospace Outlaw manages to be an engaging, original, and stylish game. Total Score: 8/10
